It is less than a month before we will all be together again. The Association of Indiana Counties Annual Conference was well attended by Auditors and Destination Education was obviously the appropriate name for the conference as all sessions were equally educational.
On Tuesday, October 25th the Auditor’s Education Committee is providing an afternoon session on Excise Tax Accounting and Settlement; Dan Bastin from the Auditor of State’s Office will be presenting from 1 to 3pm.
Tuesday after the education session is complete will be a free evening to spend in the hospitality suite and with vendors.
Wednesday and Thursday evenings will be small in agenda but big on options. The association has hired LEW Tours to shuttle everyone around the fabulous downtown. This shuttle service will be available from 5pm to 11pm each night. Events and stops are being developed by the ICVA and will be announced during the conference.
Friday will begin with breakfast; Question and Answer Session; an association meeting after the Q & A session is complete.

Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre has set aside a block of rooms at the single and double rate of $94.00 per night. Please use INDIANA COUNTY AUDITORS ASSOCIATION to make all room reservations. The block will be available until October 12th and then the rooms will be released out to the general public. It is imperative to the Association that you register in our block of rooms and prior to October 12th so we can meet the necessary number of rooms and meal planning required.
